After exploring the world of comics with my series Spline and being part of a collective of artists, I evolved into new art forms, such as collage and rag doll making. This experience deeply influenced and enriched my work.
In 2009, I released my first rag doll, inspired by my comic character, Spline. This marked the beginning of my journey into textile creations.
At that time, I didn’t know how to sew or embroider—I learned by doing.
My first rag doll was hand-embroidered felt, and from there, my passion for creating naive, kawaii, and slightly creepy characters was born. I love the simple shapes and designs of the naive style, which allows each rag doll I create to have a strong personality with just a few details.
Since then, I've explored new techniques, like printing on fabric, drawing on fabric, using a sewing machine, and even crocheting. Each new method has allowed me to expand my creative universe while staying true to my unique and playful style.
