I began my Dog Collection by creating whimsical mini dachshunds made from playful cotton fabrics and felt. Each had a long leash, perfect for attaching to your keys or bag. This mini collection included around 15 unique pieces, each one different from the others—a delightful way to add some canine charm to everyday accessories!
Recently, I've expanded the collection with fabric dogs inspired by the traditional Staffordshire porcelain figurines often seen on the windowsills of Fanø Island homes. These charming dogs hold a deeper significance: in local maritime tradition, if the figurines faced inward, it meant the sailor husband was still at sea; if they faced outward, it signaled his safe return home. These unique creations are now available in my shop.
Please note that these are decorative collectibles, not toys. Due to small parts, they are not suitable for young children and should be handled with care.
